I am not sure if I have ever loved romantically before, but watching my loved ones experience theirs is very rewarding. I am not sure if they realized it but their faces will light up whenever they are talking about their person. I can feel their happiness whenever they are together and it is highly infectious.
Millions in the world have experienced falling in love before and I got it. Now I get why people write songs about it. Why people go to war for it. Why people spent all of their lifetime searching for it.
It is such a pretty feeling. It’s heart fluttering and it makes you want to crave it every day.
I admit at times I can be pretty cynical. Sure love can be as heartbreaking as Nota Merah Perkawinan or as dramatic as Ikatan Cinta.. but at the same time, I feel (hope!) it can be as sweet as a Hallmark holiday movies or as romantic as 90s love songs.
But all in all, I think love should feel peaceful and warm. I think it should feel like coming home. Like laying down in a warm bed after a hard day or drinking a cup of tea on a rainy morning.
Nothing is perfect in this world, and life is going to be full of mistakes but I think that love’s an honest one to make.
